With their unique blend of Acadian and Scottish heritage, this young brother-sister foursome perform a high-energy show featuring fiddle music accompanied by their trademark, self-choreographed synchronized step-dancing, as well as original & traditional songs & stories in English and French. A true, down-to-earth Prince Edward Island musical experience, rich in culture and youthful originality!
The group includes siblings: Danielle Ross (fiddle/vocals/dance); Stephanie Ross (guitar/vocals/dance); Alex Ross (drums/dance); Johnny Ross (piano); Also featuring their mother, Dorothy (Arsenault) Ross (dance).
In 2007 the Ross Family finally released their debut CD, "Island Feet." Produced by Jon Matthews and featuring a mix of traditional & original fiddle music, as well as original folk songs and old-time piano tunes, along with the audio of the taps from their dancing shoes, the CD provides a snapshot of what the group represents.
