Island East Wine, Dine and Shine is a full day of activities at Rossignol Estate Winery beginning mid day and will run into the early evening. A few tidbits of what our visitors will experience are:
* Rossignol will offer wine tasting, tours of the vineyard and a "Grape Stomp"
* Myriad View Artisan Distillery will embark on shine tasting and presentation on their process
* Prince Edward Distillery will feature vodka tasting and explanations of how it is made
* Island East food service operators will be serving their speciality dishes
* Talented local entertainers including fiddlers, dancers, re-enactments, stories will set the mood
* Experience Operators will be showcasing the wonderful things you can discover in Eastern PEI
* Artisan will demonstrate how to create their wares and sales including jewellery, pottery, painters, blacksmith to name a few exciting exhibits
* Heritage sites will give a glimpse of the past of our beautiful Island
* Local food producers and organic growers will create a fresh from the fields market for our guests
* Seafood producers will offer up with fresh product to taste and purchase
This is only one of the fantastic events that will happen during the Island East Fall Flavours week from September 12th to September 18th, 2010.
